MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all general maintenance and repair of Chattanooga Community Kitchen property, equipment and facilities.
Job Duties:
- Facilities upkeep to include light plumbing, electrical and general repairs as pertain to building maintenance (includes painting, drywall and other general repairs)
- Supervision of all Maintenance employees
- Create monthly reports for department
- Maintenance of HVAC systems
- Development of maintenance and repair schedule for all cooling and refrigeration equipment
- Buffing, stripping and waxing of floors, to include operation of electric buffer
- General lawn maintenance and basic landscaping to include flower beds and repairs
- Maintenance of tool, equipment and supply inventory
- Completion of proper paperwork for purchase, repair, supplies and disposal of equipment
- Assistance with opening and closing of facilities as required
- Ability to operate Chattanooga Community Kitchen vehicles, including box truck
- Organize and track inventory/ equipment for department
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years work experience with carpentry, equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance or equivalent
High level of commitment to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen’s mission
Able to use MS Office applications
Able to work irregular hours that may include weekends
Be organized and work well with minimal supervision
Excellent human relation skills including the ability to lead and direct the work of others
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to prioritize projects, meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changes
Able to work in an environment where multiple tasks are occurring simultaneously
Able to multi-task efficiently
Be trustworthy and reliable
Be flexible/ team player
