House Manager Job Description
Immediate Opening
Hosanna Community is an independent-living community with two homes, each accommodating up to 8 adults with physical disabilities. Hosanna’s mission is to create a community which fosters independence and encourages growth towards one’s greatest potential. Each house has a live-in house manager who manages the home, working closely with the other house manager and reporting directly to the Executive Director
Responsibilities of the House Manager include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
- All meal planning, shopping, and preparation
- Maintaining / cleaning the house and property
- Planning both day and evening activities and programming for residents
- Driving the handicapped bus to activities and events (no special license needed)
- Helping residents work on goals towards independence
- Creating a welcoming environment for residents, volunteers, and visitors
