Program Director
The Next Door – Chattanooga
Job Title: Program Director, TND-Chattanooga
Reports To: Director of Quality Assurance and Expansion
Mission: The Next Door exists to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women in crisis, equipping them to develop lives of wholeness and hope.
Summary: To implement The Next Door residential transition model of housing and intensive recovery support services to women re-entering the community from incarceration.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties include the following:
- Provide oversight and accountability for the day to day operations of the program.
- Build strong, positive community partnerships to enable effective collaborations with community-based service providers.
- Responsible for oversight of TND-Chattanooga program services to include but not limited to: housing, recovery support services, case management, clinical services, workforce development, mentoring and volunteers.
- Provide intensive monitoring of and continuous evaluation of recovery support services for current residents graduates and former residents.
- Serve as the primary contact for TND-Chattanooga and represent the organization within the community at large.
- Establish and maintain partnerships and collaborative relationships within the community.
- Be responsible for documentations, billing and reporting for TND-Chattanooga activities.
- Ensure that program meets all standards of quality and effectiveness for TND, Inc.
- Coordinate and actively participate in the TND-Chattanooga admissions process.
- Supervision of and accountability for work-related activities of TND-Chattanooga staff, interns and volunteers.
- Other duties as assigned or where there is need.
Qualifications:
To be successful in executing the responsibilities and duties assigned in this job, a person must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. This person must be self-motivated and able to make quality, ethical decisions independent of supervision when necessary. Education and Experience:
Bachelors or master’s degree in social work, counseling, marketing, business or related field of study. At least two years of experience working with women in crisis situations.
Probation Period Required:
90 days
Other Requirements:
1. Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Possess computer skills including e-mail, Word, and Excel.
3. Valid driver’s license.
4. Personal automobile insurance.
5. Willingness to be on call 24/7 or as directed by supervisor.
