DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) offers fulfilling opportunities for two highly motivated, experienced development professionals to help prevent child abuse and neglect, shelter children from harm, and grow healthy, nurturing families. If you are skilled at donor cultivation and solicitation, adept at board recruitment and engagement, have event management experience, and are interested in the Tampa Bay and/or Panama City areas, we want to talk with you! These positions are responsible for increasing financial support from individuals, foundations and other sources, in addition to managing board, community and public relations. Our statewide structure offers regular opportunities to interact with other CHS development professionals. Preferred candidates have strong, verifiable records of success in annual fund raising, as well as management experience. A Bachelor’s Degree or CFRE designation is required, along with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in fund development.
